WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (April 9, 2026) —
Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs will welcome the electrifying country music artist Chris Cagle at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at SEVEN Bar inside the casino.
Cagle, known for high-energy performances and chart-topping hits, rose to prominence in the early 2000s with songs such as “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out,” “Laredo,” “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It.”
Born in De Ridder, Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Cagle moved to Nashville in 1994 to pursue a career in country music. While working a variety of jobs — including nanny, waiter, prep chef and golf caddy — he secured a publishing deal with Caliber Music. Within eight months, country artist David Kersh recorded Cagle’s song “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out,” marking an early milestone in his songwriting career.
Determined to perform his own music, Cagle signed with Virgin Records in 2000. He co-wrote and co-produced his debut album, “Play It Loud,” which earned gold certification and produced several hits, including the Top 10 single “My Love Goes On & On,” the Top 5 hit “Laredo” and the No. 1 single “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out.”
His self-titled follow-up album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and was certified gold. The project delivered two additional Top 5 singles: “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It.”
Cagle continued to build his catalog with popular tracks, including “Miss Me Baby,” “What Kinda Gone,” “Got My Country On,” “Let There Be Cowgirls” and “Country by the Grace of God.”
In 2002, he was nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music and was voted CMT’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Known for his passionate stage presence, Cagle has built a reputation as a dynamic live performer who gives his all to his fans.
The show is free for those 21 and older.
